Saturday evening, July 20, 2024, a delegation of the college, which consisted of the dean and members of the college council, accompanied by a number of employees and students, participated in the opening ceremony of the first Olympiad of Kurdistan universities and institutes, which was organized by the College of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Halabja.
Our college participates in the Olympics with a number of individual and team sports, which are futsal, table tennis, track and field, javelin throw, weight throw, 100 meters, and 200 meters races, in order to provide opportunities for our students’ passion for sports and achieve good results.
On the evening of Sunday, 21st July 2024, in the framework of the track and field games of the first Olympics of the University and Institutes of the College of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Halabja, in the weight throw game, a talented student of our college (Star Hassan), a student of the third stage of the Department of Geography, won the third place medal.
On behalf of the Deanship of the College, we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Mr. Star and the staff of our college for this achievement despite the lack of opportunity to prepare. We wish the safety of all participants.
